This week we are learning about teeth and oral hygiene. We practiced flossing and painted with floss. We also discussed what kind of things are and aren't good for you teeth. It seems we had a dentist in the classroom and I was unaware of it. Your children are in good hands. The person that guessed the right pillow got to put a dollar under it. I don't need to tell you that they loved this game. We read Tooth Trouble at the end of the day.

Today we sang/learned about Michelangelo (S was excited until he realized it wasn't the ninja turtle) and painted under the tables. Now we know why it took him four years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It must have been hard work and it hurt our necks. Making a cactus with a cucumber and toothpicks for letter "C" ![]() Cotton balls on Letter "C" They made caterpillars in their journals Tracing the letter "C" I asked them if a shadow is always black. All but one said "yes they are always black." Then we went and tested it and discovered that shadows are not always balck some times they can be orange or red or blue. They were truly fascinated.
