Merry Christmas! We squeezed a lot into last week. These are pics from both days since I forgot my camera on Wednesday! We celebrated Jesus a lot! We made him a cake, read books about his birth, sang him happy birthday a few times, donated times to the Manna House in his honor, had show and tell and lots more. I hope you all have your best Christmas yet! Remember the gift of Jesus and how much the Lord loves each and everyone of you! See you in the new year! God bless!

There are so many fun things to do this time of year. Yesterday we worked on making patterns, discussed the difference between fiction and non-fiction, decorated our bags for our special Christmas gifts and worked on large muscle development with Mrs. Amy in motor skills. Next week is going to be busy. I sent home a letter that Mrs. McCleary was so generous to type up about a book exchange for the Christmas party. Wednesday is our Manna House trip to donate the food items. Some of you have already sent items in so thank you so much. I also decided it would be fun to make Wednesday a pajama day. Friday is Show and Tell again. The Christmas party begins at 12:00 and families are welcome. Thanks so much for all the support you all give me. I have a fabulous class with amazing parents.
Parents if you don't see a picture of your child every day please don't be upset. I try very hard to get a picture of every child everyday but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Our days are incredibly busy and it can be challenging to stop what we're doing and take pictures throughout our day. Today we finished up with gingerbread. We read the gingerbread man, did a positional activity with our gingerbread, predicted and tested if a gingerbread would melt in water, played a gingerbread game and played gingerbread bingo. Have a great week. I'll be back next Friday. Mrs. Amy is filling in for me on Wednesday. God bless! ![]() Yesterday flew by and was over before I knew it. Our focus this week is gingerbread. We sang a song about five yummy gingerbread, cut and pasted a gingerbread in order from 1-8 in our journals and cut lots of gingerbread (play-do) with cutters. We also had a visit from Critterville where we we able to meet some interesting critters Below are the pictures of the ones willing to hold the millipede. Others were not so excited and decided to observe from afar. Tomorrow is tee shirt day. See you in the morning!
Last Friday we finished up our four seasons unit. A few things we did included: reading about spring, talking about our favorite season, painting crumpled paper with spring colors, sunbeam counting, leaf rubbings in our journals and of course we had show and tell. Great job helping your kiddos with the descriptive words. You don't realize how much this fun activity builds vocabulary and confidence. I appreciate all of your support. Have a great day!
