Today was amazing! I enjoyed celebrating the birth of Jesus with my favorite little three and four year olds. Thank you so much for all that helped with the party in any way. Also thank you for all the generous and thoughtful gifts. You all are so good to me! Here are some pictures of our celebration. Have a truly awesome and safe holiday season. I will miss my frog friends. God bless you!

Yesterday was a very special day. We had a field trip to our very own Manna House. We talked about how some people don't have food to eat and need help sometimes. They told me that Jesus is happy when we help other people out. That is what we did. We did show and tell and then we walked our food over to the pantry and placed it on the shelves for someone who may need it in the future. Enjoy the pictures! We made birthday cakes for Jesus! This Charlie Brown tree received a lot of love today! Christmas Patterning Lacing Jingle Bells This candy cane needed stripes so they added some to it. Some of them made noodle art. Notice the two glue bottles because sometimes one glue just isn't enough. This is how you build strong hand muscles for writing.
We are having a blast this time of year. Today we: read a story about baby Jesus, did the reindeer pokey, played who took the candy cane from the candy cane jar, did two experiments with candy canes and made a Christmas tree (seriation activity). Seriation- the ability to arrange objects in order by size They predicted that a candy cane would get soft when put into the oven and they were right. It went from a solid to a liquid and then back to a solid. I shaped it into a heart before it hardened back up. Jingle Bell Painting
The writing center was very busy! Twisting on the swings never gets old. Gingerbread Bingo We finished off the week decorating, graphing and eating gingerbread.
