Well I can't believe this is my last post of this school year! Thank you families for a fantastic year! You have all blessed me so much (especially your sweet children). Please let me know if any want to meet up at a park or Thin Air or somewhere else. I would love to see my frogs over the summer. God bless you all. Have a great summer! Seashell Painting Bubble wrap dancing during muscle movement Our reading buddies escaped and hopped all over the church. We had to go on a search to find them all and get them safely back to the classroom. They had a blast searching for them. We had the chance to swap classes with the Awesome Owls today and play in a different classroom for about thirty minutes. They really enjoyed it. End of school picnic

Happy Birthday S! It was our last birthday celebration of the year! Our birthday tree looks so colorful. They wouldn't let me take a nap in the tent. They said I was a bear and I needed to get out. Maybe I was snoring too loud and I sounded like a bear. You can't camp in the heat without a popsicle to cool you down. Happy Birthday H! We had a wonderful day! He even got butterflies for his birthday. One more ornament for the birthday tree Puppet Play We ended our study of butterflies today! They have been fascinated with the whole life cycle. I love that we would see the process all the way through. This is how children learn best and absorb knowledge (by experiencing it first hand). All but one of our butterflies emerged and we were able to set them free out into nature where God intended them to be. I enjoyed the conversations about it and how inquisitive they were about every little detail. Here is one of our painted ladies before taking off. We played an alien game where we rolled the dice, counted the dots, wrote the number and added that many eyes to their aliens. We also finished up our space unit. We discussed why the moon has craters and did this science activity to demonstrate how craters are formed on the moon. Your children are so incredibly brilliant! Don't forget about our Mother's Day Tea next Friday the 8th from 12:15-12:45.
