This week we are learning about the four seasons. We: sang and danced to a fun song about them, read a book about them, built a snowman (ok maybe it was a felt man), tossed the beach ball, matched garden gloves, made leaf people and so much more. Ask them if they remember what the seasons are and let me know tomorrow what they said, They are so incredibly smart. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the lives. They are so precious. Have a blessed night!

Our Thanksgiving feast was lovely! Thank you so much to all the parents that provided food and helped serve and clean up. I always enjoy this special event because it gives me a little more time to visit with all the families. I feel like we are so busy each day that I don't get a lot of time to talk with some of you. I'm so thankful for each one of you and that you allow me to share a small part of your precious child's life. I truly do have the best job in the world. I pray each of you have a blessed Thanksgiving break with much quality time with your families. Warmest Wishes!
We were busy making butter, making headbands and sorting beans yesterday! We are really focusing on thankfulness and being grateful for all that the Lord has blessed us with. See you in the morning! God bless!
Last Friday we read about a silly turkey, made cornbread, laced our necklaces for the Thanksgiving feast and had a whole lot of fun in motor skills. Enjoy the pictures!
Yesterday was a lot of fun! We did the turkey pokey and sang a song about candy corn, made patterns with candy corn, did a little experimenting with it (talked about states of matter), and played candy corn number bingo. We also had a special visit from the Edward's Aquifer and learned a great deal about water and where it comes from.
We finished up our farm unit on Friday! We read The Three Little Pigs, did a spin and graph activity, sorted farm/zoo animals in our journals and made our placemats for the Thanksgiving feast (with a focus on absorption). Enjoy the pics! See you Wednesday!
Good afternoon! I thought our fall parade and party were a hit. Thank you to the parents that made it happen and for all that attended. It means a lot to your children that you are there. It was a very busy day but we were able to squeeze in some of our farm them. We sang Old McDonald, did a finger puppet story about five pigs, sorted farm animals, put together a giant floor puzzle, laced farm animals and more. Enjoy the pics! Sorry many of them are blurry.
