Well here is the last blog for this class. It's been a wonderful year! We made lemonade in a bag, wrote one last time in our journals, had show and tell, played games and popped bubble wrap in motor skills. I sure hope you've all seen great growth in your child this year (I know I sure have). It has been a pure joy having each one of them in my class. They all have a little piece of my heart. Thank you for all the love and support you've given me but most of all for sharing these most beautiful treasures with me. Have a blessed summer! Stay tuned for an upcoming ice cream outing.

We celebrated our last birthday yesterday! Happy Birthday A! We also had camping day and had some very fun activities such as: painting, sorting, patterning, weighing, balancing rocks, went on a nature hike, used flashlights and read books in tents and played with bubbles. One more day of school. Tomorrow is show and tell free choice.
Donuts with dad was very special. We tried to get a picture of each child with their father. We only missed one that came in at the very end. I apologize for that. Thanks dad's for taking time out of your day to participate in this event with your child. You may never know how much these things that seem so little, means to them. You make them a priority and this is how they learn to trust and love others. The rest of the day was filled with superhero activities. We: read about superheroes, did a little subtraction song, graphed our favorite superhero, decorated our own capes, did a counting activity and played super hero bingo. Enjoy the pics!
I hope you had a great Mother's Day! You're very special moms and your kids are very blessed to have you. Keep up the good work. The pics turned out really cute. Enjoy!
We celebrated this cutie pie today! We have one more birthday to go. Today was so much fun. We read about ten little fish, planted and watered flowers, made muffins, made a train in music and had a visit from some drum specialists that taught us about and let us play drums. We also learned about all the percussion instruments. Friday is Muffins with Mom! We will meet on the indoor playground until 9:00 and then go to chapel together. After that we will convene in the classroom for some muffins and special songs that I know you haven't heard them practicing (wink)! See you on Friday!
Last Friday was definitely a gross motor day! Your kiddos had so much fun riding and washing their bikes and they had lots of obstacles in motor skills. We also toured the art museum and they were able to see their masterpieces so nicely displayed. I hope all of you had a chance to walk through it. Those art pieces will be coming home for you to treasure on Wednesday! Don't forget muffins with mom's on Friday. It will begin at 9:00 with you joining us for chapel and then to the classroom for muffins and juice. Have a blessed day!
Today we celebrated this sweet girl! We also read about stars and the moon, sang a space song, made number rocket ships and constellations. It was out of this world! Keep your fingers crossed that bike doesn't get rained out. Have a lovely evening! God bless!
