Last Friday we finished up our dental unit. We read about a bear that lost his tooth, graphed our toothbrush color, painted with toothbrushes and cut and glued teeth in order from one to ten. Friday is tee shirt day. See you tomorrow. God bless!

Our theme is dental this week. It's one of my favorites. I was a dental assistant in my younger years. We read about a walrus with tusk trouble, painted with floss, sorted things that are good and bad for our teeth, practiced flossing with duplos and used non-standard measurement to measure toothbrushes. Picture day is next Wednesday. Have a blessed evening!
Rodeo Day was a blast! We milked cows (gloves...lol), branded animals, roped a bull, had horse races, traced rodeo stencils, sat in a saddle and had a special rodeo lunch! Thanks to the parents that volunteered and made the day extra special. Enjoy your evening! See you on Wednesday!
This week we're having lots of rodeo fun! We had a visit from the Trick Roper yesterday. You're children were truly fascinated with the tricks he can do with a rope. Tomorrow is Rodeo Day! If you haven't already please bring two cans of biscuits (we will bake them). You don't need to pack a lunch. A special rodeo lunch will be provided. Have a blessed evening! ![]() Today was a lot of fun! Thanks to the parents that planned and implemented it. Also thank you all for the kind treats. You're all so thoughtful. Have a lovely night and a blessed weekend.
Good evening! Yesterday was all about hearts and love. We did an experiment, decorated our treat bags, measured with candy hearts and graphed them, covered hearts with heart stickers, read about rainbow fish and how much he loved his friends and drew to music in music class. Our class party is tomorrow at noon. See you in the morning!
Today we discussed feelings. We did an activity about kind words and not so kind words, an experiment with oil and water, traced shapes in our journals, graphed how we feel, read a book about feelings and sang If You're Happy and you Know It. See you Friday for conferences. Have a great Thursday!
Good evening! We finished up Nursery Rhymes on Friday with Baa,Baa Black Sheep. They painted their names with cotton balls and black paint, did a pepper experiment, traced a rhombus in our journals, made letters with play-do and did a math cube matching activity. Remember that conferences are on Friday! See you on Wednesday!
This week we are discussing nursery rhymes. Yesterday we: read about Humpty Dumpty, then we put on our science caps and made predictions about materials he would/wouldn't crack on, ordered eggs by number and in a pattern, painted with eggs, practiced writing our names and built walls with blocks for Humpty Dumpty. Tomorrow is show and tell for letters J,K or H.
Good afternoon! Sorry for the late post. I have had a pretty busy week. Here are some pics from last Wednesday and a few from Friday that Jill sent me. We had a lot of fun as you can see. We were busy as we: read the book Snowballs and created our own snow people, played snowman bingo, made our own snow and played with it, wrote numbers in shaving cream, created marshmallow structures and skated on paper plates to Frozen 2 songs and lots more. Enjoy the pics! Remember that this coming Friday is Show and Tell and next Friday is parent/teacher conferences. Have a blessed evening! ![]() |
